Lokal und regional betrachtet: Sein & Schein in Architektur und Denkmalpflege
Architects, architectural historians and preservationists not only deal with the designing of the built world but focus on questions about the original, deception and the reconstruction. Imitation of nature, hallucinations in the decor and visual extensions are topics to deal with, too. Historical traces are significantly for listed buildings.
Philipp Valente was invited to the panel discussion and discussed with Alexandra Apfelbaum, architecture and art historian, Richard Schmalöer, architect BDA and urban planner, as well as city councilor Ludger Wilde, department head for the environment, planning and living of the city of Dortmund on the subject of “Being & Appearance” in architecture and monument preservation.
The conversation can be listened on the following website.
