The new park will strengthen the immediate location and the larger context of the surrounding area and make it tangible. Based on the natural habitats of the hedgerow landscape, the park is zoned by linear vegetation, taking into account the underground car park. As a result, four fields are formed which take up the use of the park and their distribution of use is based on the spatial connections to the neighboring buildings.
Analogous to the kinked landscape, the partial unfolding of the parking ceiling creates topographical high points that naturally illuminate and ventilate the respective tramlines in the parking garage. The open underground car park also contributes to the additional definition of the park landscape with its level access in the north and the resulting increase in terrain and creates a double high point. On the one hand, the topography creates a geographical vantage point from which one can see the entire green space and, on the other hand, the concept of the natural landscape growing out of the urban environment can be experienced.
